Layout & File Help

Are you designing the file yourself? Then please follow these guidelines to ensure that you get the best results possible.

Use the layout templates as your foundation to begin the design. These templates include all the visual guides needed to ensure a flawless finished product.

All or our printing is full color and full bleed. Please keep artwork within the margins.

• The grey line is the bleed line. To accommodate the bleed artwork must extend to the grey line. Margins are set to ¼ inch or 0.125 inches to accomplish this.
• The red line is the cut line. This is where the finished product will be cut. Absolutely no text should be within ¼ inch (0.125 inches) of this line to prevent accidental cutting.
• The blue line is the safety line. Keep all text and important images within this section

Layout Guide Templates:

To download the file: If using Internet Explorer right click on the file name and choose "Save target as" . If using Firefox right click and choose "Save link as". Then navigate to a suitable location on your computer and save the file.

File Specifications

We recommend .pdf files however the following are also acceptable:

• .jpg, .tiff, .eps, .psd created at 300dpi
• Adobe ™ Illustrator (.ai, .eps) (convert fonts to outlines)
• Adobe ™ PDFor later (.pdf) (embed fonts, images and other assets)
• Remember to add crop marks and flatten your files before uploading.

Other File Settings

• Resolution must be at least 300 dpi
• Color mode must be set to CMYK, 8 bit color
• Black Backgrounds = Rich Black = C:50% / M:40% / Y:40%/ K:100%
• Flatten all layers.
• Fonts must be outlined
